Acceptable-use policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

NMBR exists for one purpose: lawful, professional outreach, one person at a time. This policy is part of our terms of use and applies to every customer and every result. If a use case would surprise or harm the person being contacted, assume it is not allowed.

You may not use NMBR to

  • harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against, or deceive anyone;
  • contact a person who has asked you, or has asked NMBR, not to be contacted;
  • send unlawful spam or violate marketing, privacy, employment, or telecommunications laws (such as CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, do-not-call rules, GDPR, and CCPA);
  • run automated, bulk, or prerecorded calling or texting campaigns against numbers obtained from NMBR;
  • publish, post, or broadcast someone's contact information (doxxing), or use it for surveillance, identity theft, or fraud;
  • seek sensitive information (health, finances, biometrics, beliefs) or emergency-service lines;
  • resell, redistribute, or publish results, or use them to build or enrich a competing product or database;
  • scrape, crawl, or run automated bulk collection against NMBR, or probe, bypass, or interfere with credits, rate limits, or security protections;
  • share accounts or resell access or credits;
  • violate the terms of any third-party platform alongside which you use the extension; you are responsible for your own accounts there;
  • use the service where prohibited by law, or in violation of sanctions and export rules.

Not a consumer reporting agency

NMBR is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and results are not consumer reports. You may not use NMBR data as a factor in decisions about credit, employment eligibility, insurance, housing, or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA or similar laws.

Enforcement

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access that violates this policy, creates risk for individuals, threatens the service, or conflicts with our data providers' restrictions. Where the violation is serious, we may do so without notice.

Report misuse

Report suspected misuse to alex@firstmillionviews.com. Include what you saw and where, and do not include passwords or card details.
